I'm Proposing Mandatory Impact Audits. Every Bill over $5M must define success, followed by an automatic independent review after 3 years to see if those promises were kept. If a program fails to meet its targets, the funding is paused until the Legislature proves it can be fixed.

I'm working with constituents on three specific problems in Utah's family courts: contested custody cases that cost tens of thousands of dollars, custody orders that police won't enforce, and a child welfare system that both misses real danger and separates families who didn't need separating. Each one gets its own fix, not a one-size-fits-all overhaul.

We can't afford a "wait and see" approach to the Great Salt Lake. I'm fighting for aggressive water leasing and improved efficiency to reach our 800,000 acre feet per year goal.  

Homebuyers in Public Infrastructure Districts often don't learn about extra taxes until the night before closing. I'll require full disclosure before you make an offer, measurable goals, automatic sunsets, and a public dashboard to track it all.

District 29 is losing long-time neighbors to property tax spikes and corporate rent hikes. I support a homestead freeze for seniors, caps on out-of-state institutional purchases, and dedicated funding for starter-home construction.

Ranked-choice voting and nonpartisan primaries give voters real choice and reduce the extremism that comes from closed primaries. I will champion these reforms as a Forward Party priority at the Capitol.

Utah is the second-driest state in the nation, and Big Tech's AI data centers are straining our water and power grid. I'm championing closed-loop cooling mandates, 100% developer-funded infrastructure, strict noise limits, and job clawbacks so Utah families never pay the price for corporate growth.

I'm fighting for smart intersections to cut idling time, expanded micro-transit for easier local trips, and the immediate preservation of rail corridors. Let's clear the path for a faster commute to Salt Lake before development blocks our options forever.

Utah ranks 50th for per-pupil spending in the nation. I support raising teacher pay to a regional median, restoring class-size caps, and protecting every dollar already earmarked for classrooms.
